1. Introduction
ITS Integrator 4.1 uses a combination of Oracle Forms and ADF, a web-based application that makes use of the Model View Controller architecture. ADF allows for different views of data to be presented on web pages.
ADF a more modern technology that guarantees our long-term benefits to ITS Integrator 4.1. Adapt IT’s objective is to continuously improve functionality of ITS Integrator 4.1, based on the valuable feedback received from clients, recommendations from industry experts and the evidence from our own research.
The system has become more efficient and convenient due to the enriched web-based functionality. For example, the system will now be able to interface with more systems that provide functionalities outside the core ITS Integrator scope. iEnabler products are also now accessible on mobile devices. System modules are continuously evaluated, ensuring they remain relevant or if they should be discontinued.
Certain enhancements are a conversion of a menu option from forms to ADF, with no changes nor additional fields. As well as the change to ADF, menu options have been combined to improve functionality. Where applicable, these will be dealt with per subsystem for ease of reference.
