12.3 Preventing Appointment of a Pensioner
To ensure that pensioners are not appointed an External Conversion Code {GOPS-21} is required.
The system checks if personnel are linked to any service record (current or past) for an appointment types, linked to an appointment type/s for new:
- External Body/Code Type ‘HDS/HDI’, and
- Externa l Code = PENSIONAPP
If these codes are used, the persons will then be identified as a pensioner.
